What can be reported
Readers may report a technical instruction, stitch count, measurement, factual claim, broken link, inaccessible interaction, missing disclosure, authorship concern, privacy issue, or metadata error. Feedback about style or preference is also welcome, although it may not require a correction.
How reports are reviewed
Reports are logged and routed to the editor responsible for the affected subject. The review considers the published wording, source notes, test record where applicable, page version, and whether another reasonable reader could reproduce the same issue.
Submitting a report does not require a public account. Contact information is used to clarify or reply to the report and is handled under the Privacy Policy.
Correction levels
Minor production changes
Spelling, punctuation, layout, and link repairs that do not alter meaning may be corrected without a prominent notice. The page's maintenance record still captures the change.
Substantive corrections
Changes to meaning, counts, measurements, construction, safety, attribution, commercial disclosure, or a material factual claim receive a visible correction or revision note and an updated date.
Withdrawal or replacement
Content may be paused, removed, or redirected when the error could cause repeated failure, when rights are uncertain, or when the page cannot be corrected responsibly from the available evidence.
Pattern-specific errors
Pattern reports should include the URL, version, row or round, expected and actual counts, gauge, materials, substitutions, and photographs if useful. A construction change is reviewed under the Pattern Testing Policy before the corrected version is described as tested.
Transparency and history
Dezly does not silently hide a significant editorial error. Notices explain what changed and, when useful, who may be affected. A correction note avoids repeating private information or creating a misleading impression about the person who reported it.
Disagreements and appeals
If a contributor or reader disagrees with a decision, the matter can be escalated to the Editorial Director or to another editor not responsible for the original decision. Commercial partners do not control whether a correction is issued.
