Who we are
Dezly is an independent digital publication operated by DEZLY LLC in Montana 59802, United States. DEZLY LLC is the data controller or business responsible for deciding why and how information collected directly through this website is used.
Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to contact@dezly.co. General editorial messages can be submitted through the Contact page.
Scope
This policy applies to the Dezly website, contact form, privacy-preference interface, and communications sent to our published email addresses. It does not govern third-party websites or marketplaces reached through a link. Etsy, Google, Cloudflare, Resend, browser extensions, and other providers process information under their own policies when their services are used.
Information you provide
The contact form collects the name, email address, topic, and message you submit. A hidden anti-spam field and technical request information may also be evaluated to protect the form. If you email Dezly directly, we receive the address, message, attachments, and routing information included in that communication.
Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, medical information, or other sensitive information that is not necessary for an editorial or privacy request. Dezly does not currently provide reader accounts, public comments, or direct website checkout.
Information collected automatically
Hosting and security providers may process standard request data such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page, user agent, device or browser category, network information, and security signals. This information supports delivery, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and aggregate performance analysis.
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile as an essential security control. Turnstile may process the visitor's IP address, browser and device signals, interaction data, and a short-lived verification token so DEZLY LLC can distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. The token is validated on the server before email delivery.
Dezly stores a privacy-preference record in local storage on your device. Optional analytics or advertising technologies remain denied until the corresponding permission is saved. Browser Global Privacy Control signals are used to keep advertising permission disabled.
Purposes and legal bases
We use information to deliver and secure the website, respond to messages, investigate corrections or accessibility reports, maintain editorial records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the service.
- Contract or steps at your request: responding when you ask for information or submit a proposal.
- Legitimate interests: operating a secure publication, preventing abuse, maintaining records, and improving reliability where those interests do not override individual rights.
- Consent: optional analytics and advertising storage, where consent is required.
- Legal obligation: records or disclosures required by applicable law.
Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
Contact-form delivery
Contact submissions are processed by Cloudflare Pages, checked through Cloudflare Turnstile, and sent through Resend to a controlled DEZLY LLC inbox. The recipient address is fixed by server configuration; visitors cannot use the form to select an outside recipient.
Form input is validated and length-limited. Turnstile tokens are single-use and are checked for success, the contact-form action, and an approved Dezly hostname. Abuse-prevention measures may reject malformed requests, expired or duplicate tokens, automated submissions, repeated traffic, or topics outside the available form choices.
A successful response confirms delivery to the mail provider, not that a particular editorial outcome has been promised.
External shop and purchases
Some pages may link to printable patterns sold by DEZLY LLC through Etsy. Dezly.co does not receive or store full payment-card details and does not process Etsy checkout. Etsy receives purchase, account, payment, delivery, and technical information under Etsy's own terms and privacy policy.
When a buyer contacts DEZLY LLC about an Etsy order, we may receive the order details and contact information needed to provide support, keep required business records, prevent fraud, or comply with law. A link to Etsy does not activate advertising cookies on dezly.co.
Analytics and advertising
Analytics is optional and is not activated merely because the page loads. If Dezly later configures an analytics service, it will load only under the saved analytics preference and will be described in this policy and the Cookie Policy.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to dezly.co or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve and measure personalized or non-personalized advertising according to the visitor's region, consent state, and applicable settings. Google explains this processing in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Visitors can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings and may opt out of some participating third-party vendors through YourAdChoices. Advertising is not required to read Dezly. Depending on local law, some personalized-advertising activity may be described as sharing or a sale of personal information; Dezly provides an opt-in choice, honors Global Privacy Control by disabling advertising permission, and offers persistent access to Cookie settings.
Service providers and disclosure
Dezly uses Cloudflare for hosting, network security, and Turnstile verification; Resend for contact-form email delivery; Etsy when a visitor chooses an external marketplace link; and—only when enabled with the appropriate permission and regional controls—Google advertising or analytics services. Providers receive information needed to perform their function and operate under their own contractual and legal obligations.
Turnstile is treated as essential because the contact endpoint cannot safely accept unrestricted automated submissions. Its verification token is not forwarded to Resend or included in editorial messages.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, establish or defend legal claims, or complete a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. Dezly does not publish contact-form messages or sell a mailing list.
Retention
Contact messages are generally retained for up to 24 months after the last relevant communication, unless a shorter period is sufficient or a longer period is needed for a legal claim, rights request, documented correction, contributor agreement, or security investigation. Rejected spam and security logs may be retained for a shorter operational period determined by the hosting provider.
Consent preferences remain on your device until you change them, clear site data, or a new consent version requires another choice. Editorial evidence is retained according to its continuing relevance and rights obligations.
International transfers
Dezly is operated from the United States, and providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard, Dezly and its providers may rely on adequacy decisions, contractual clauses, certification frameworks, or another lawful mechanism.
Using the site does not by itself waive statutory transfer rights. Contact contact@dezly.co if you need information about the safeguard relevant to a specific request.
Your privacy rights
Depending on location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, or information about categories of data and recipients. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority.
Requests should identify the email address or interaction involved and the right being exercised. Dezly may ask for proportionate verification and cannot disclose information when identity cannot be confirmed. Authorized-agent requests may require proof of authority.
United States state rights
Residents of certain US states may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or qualifying profiling. Dezly does not use the website contact form for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Optional advertising remains off until permission is granted, and a recognized Global Privacy Control signal keeps it off. Rights requests and appeals can be sent to contact@dezly.co. Dezly will not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Children
Dezly is an educational publication for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly create child accounts or request personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information can contact contact@dezly.co to request review and deletion.
Security
Measures include HTTPS delivery, restricted environment secrets, input validation, request-size limits, abuse controls, no-store API responses, and access limited to people or providers who need the information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so sensitive information should not be sent unless necessary.
Changes and contact
This policy may change when features, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. A material change will be explained through an appropriate notice or renewed choice where required.
Email contact@dezly.co for privacy requests. For corrections, accessibility, partnerships, or editorial questions, use the Contact page.
