About the service
Dezly provides free educational and editorial information about crochet, materials, tools, pattern standards, and related making decisions. Some pages may also link to printable PDF editions sold by DEZLY LLC through Etsy. Dezly.co does not currently provide reader accounts, public comments, a marketplace, or direct website checkout.
Content may be added, revised, consolidated, or removed as the editorial program develops. Published guides identify their scope, revision date, and known limitations; availability of a page or external product is not guaranteed indefinitely.
Eligibility and lawful use
You may use the site only when you can lawfully agree to these terms. If you use Dezly on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization.
You must not interfere with site security, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, overload forms or infrastructure, scrape personal contact details, misrepresent affiliation with Dezly, or use the service to violate another person's rights.
Educational purpose
Dezly explains techniques and editorial standards, but does not provide medical, legal, product-certification, occupational-safety, or other regulated professional advice. Results vary with materials, tension, tools, environment, and individual execution.
You are responsible for evaluating whether an instruction or material is appropriate for your circumstances, especially when making products for children, sale, food contact, skin contact, pets, or another use governed by law or safety standards.
Intellectual property
Unless a page states otherwise, the site's original text, layout, branding, graphics, photographs, data organization, and code are owned by or licensed to Dezly and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may read, print, and save reasonable excerpts for personal, non-commercial learning. You may share links to public pages. You may not republish complete pages, remove attribution, sell access to site content, train or populate a competing content product through systematic copying, or present Dezly material as your own without written permission or a legal exception.
Crochet patterns and finished items
Each Dezly pattern or printable product states the permissions and restrictions that apply to its instructions. No general permission should be inferred from another page or product. Pattern files and complete instructions may not be republished, redistributed, or resold unless the specific product terms permit it.
Copyright in instructions and permission to sell a finished object are different questions. Makers remain responsible for trademarks, product safety, labeling, taxes, consumer law, and any third-party rights that apply to their activity.
External purchases
A link labeled Etsy Shop or Printable PDF opens an external Etsy service. Purchases made there are processed by Etsy and are subject to the listing details, Etsy's checkout, delivery system, terms, privacy practices, and applicable buyer protections.
DEZLY LLC is responsible for the accuracy and support of its own listed digital products. Etsy controls its account, payment, tax, download, refund, and marketplace systems. Contact DEZLY LLC through Etsy Messages or contact@dezly.co for product-support questions.
Submissions and feedback
If you submit a correction, question, proposal, or feedback, you retain ownership of original material you provide. You grant Dezly permission to review, reproduce internally, and use the submission as reasonably necessary to respond, investigate, or improve the service.
Do not send confidential business information, unpublished patterns, personal data about another person, or material you lack the right to share unless Dezly has agreed to receive it under suitable terms. A submission does not guarantee publication, payment, attribution, or a partnership.
External links and services
Links to outside resources are provided for context or convenience. External services control their own content, availability, security, terms, and privacy practices. A link does not necessarily mean endorsement.
Advertising may be supplied by Google after consent. Dezly does not select every advertisement displayed and is not a party to transactions between a visitor and an advertiser.
Availability and changes
Dezly may suspend features for maintenance, security, legal review, or editorial correction. We aim for reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage of a particular page, or compatibility with every device and browser.
Material changes to these terms will update the date above. Continued use after a revised version takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Disclaimers
The site is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Dezly disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Dezly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the site, reliance on educational material, unavailable content, external services, or unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control.
These limits do not apply where prohibited or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Indemnity
If you use the site for a commercial or organizational purpose, you agree to be responsible for claims arising from your unlawful use, infringement, malicious submission, or material breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law. This provision does not require a consumer to waive non-waivable rights.
Governing rules and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
Before filing a claim, contact contact@dezly.co with a clear description and requested resolution. If informal resolution is not possible, a dispute may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction in Montana, unless mandatory law gives you another forum. Nothing here prevents an urgent request for protective relief.
